Google Messenger

after circulating the leaked screenshots Google's instant messaging application views Messenger, Google officially launched the application in the application store, Play Store on Wednesday (11/12/2014).

Messenger application released by Google is seen to have a minimalist look and follow the rules of Materials Design like other applications in the Android platform Lollipop.

Quoted KompasTekno from Android Authority, Google Messenger application is available by default in the ninth Nexus and Nexus 6, replacing Hangouts are in the Google suite of applications on the homescreen.

Not many of the functions that are included by Google in the instant messaging services, Messenger only basic functions, such as messaging, photo sharing, audio, search for contacts, and support emoji.

Additionally, Google Messenger also has the ability to block SMS messages. Messenger application has also become the default application to handle SMS in Android 5.0 Lollipop.

With the launch of Google Messenger, Hangouts app fate unclear as to what the future, even though the application is still present in other Google Android devices.

Google Messenger application available in the Play Store and can be downloaded via the following link. However, Google Messenger can only work with Android version 4.1 or any later version.
